Last month, the community of Tujunga faced a significant setback when the local Little League had its artificial grass stolen. In response, Artificial Grass AGS felt compelled to step in and offer assistance. Yesterday, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and gratitude as the Dodgers’ own Dee Gordon and Los Angeles City Council Representative Wesley Hernandez joined the celebrations for the grand re-opening of the league’s field.
Dee Gordon not only attended but also engaged with the young athletes, sharing in their joy and enthusiasm as the final touches were made to their new playing surface.
The event featured heartfelt speeches from several key figures, including Dillon Georgian, owner of AGS; Bill Mayes from the Tujunga Little League; Dee Gordon; and Wesley Hernandez. Each speaker emphasized the importance of community support and the resilience of the league.
Thanks to the generous donation and installation of replacement turf by AGS, the young players now have a vibrant “field of dreams” to call their own once again.
A huge thank you to everyone involved for making this event a resounding success and restoring hope and joy to the Tujunga Little League community!
